At The Biomechanics Lab, research is central to what we do. Our researchers are constantly looking to add to our database of volunteers and participants for our footwear wear-test program and research studies at the University of South Australia.

The following studies or programs of research are currently underway:

• The effect of dual density midsoles on lower limb bomechanics, running economy and running performance.
• Investigating the comfort hypothesis: the relationship between footwear comfort and footwear design variables
• The effect of custom foot orthotics and footwear in the management of plantar fasciopathy
• Optimising orthotic function through chnages in geometic design
• ASICS Footwear wear-test program
